She’s an LA style icon who made a name for herself on reality TV show The Hills and now Whitney Port has been announced as the face and incredibly toned body of the new Venus and Olay razor, and looks every inch the supermodel as she poses for her latest job in some seriously sexy Giuseppe Zanotti stilettos.

The fashion designer and TV personality was chosen by the brand because she is the ‘personification of a modern Goddess’. Whilst I’m not too sure if I agree with this statement she is rocking the shoes!

Kobi Levi Miao Shoes

Having a blog called Salon Kitty it was only a matter of time until I posted the puurrrrfect pair of shoes!

Israeli designer Kobi Levi first shoe designs were created during his high school days and back then they were made from cardboard. Nowadays all pairs are made by hand from high-quality materials.

The Miao design captures the grace and elegance in a cat’s movement while stretching its limbs. Many actually see it as a dog. Either way, it seems so alive you expect it to jump in a giant leap straight into your lap.  The playful tail and pink bell strap and personality and are oh so cute!

Interesting fact: Lady Gaga wore Kobi’s Double Boot in her “Born this Way” music video!

Fluro Feet

You’d have to be blind not to notice the nuances of neon making their way into street style of late.  Originally popping up along the trim or lining of a piece, the trend has evolved into a full-on highlighter happy love fest.  Once reserved for construction workers and biking safety, the fluro frenzy is officially in fashion and it’s not rare to see an outfit comprised entirely of wake-you-up-more-than-coffee colors.

No matter where you fall on the neon scale (“just a touch, please” or “I moonlight as a safety patrol guard!”) you’ll surely benefit from highlighter heels. My current favourites come to us from Italian shoe designer, Duccio Venturi, who gives the basic pump and strappy sandal a bright awakening with neon hues.  Pick your favorite color and perk up any outfit, or go bold and collect all four!
